Construction Map Guide

Construction Overview

Construction is a medium, mirrored build site with a crane on one side and a red crate dangling in the center. You spawn on the second floor of an L-shaped area, diagonal from your opponent. The map is full of gaps between wooden planks and holes you can fall through, which makes moving around tricky — but the crane gives you a climbable route to high ground, and there are blimps you can reach too. A Jump Shard sits at the very top of the crane.

Best Weapons on Construction

Ranged

• Sniper — The top of the crane gives long sightlines across the whole build site.
• Grenade Launcher — AoE damage flushes enemies out of the wooden planks and cover crates.
• Shotgun — The tight indoor floors and stairwells favor the Shotgun's point-blank burst.

Melee

• Mace — One clean 60-damage hit ends the cramped stairwell trades.

Best Positions on Construction

• A — Top of the crane
  The highest point with sightlines across the whole site. A Sniper here locks down the map.
• B — L-shaped second floor
  Your spawn area — a strong defensive spot, but enemies spawn diagonal from you.
• C — Center red crate
  The dangling crate in the middle is a contested control point.
• D — Blimps
  Reachable high points that give you a second angle on the crane.

Common Mistakes on Construction

• Stepping on the wooden plank gaps — you'll fall through and give away free damage.
• Fighting only at eye level — the best angles on this map come from the crane above you.
• Rushing the stairwells blind — enemies camp the top and bottom.
