Docks Map Guide

Docks Overview

Docks is one of the most common maps across game modes, and it's a long-range map — snipers and crossbows dominate the open sightlines. You can break the glass windows on the buildings to enter faster than using the doors, and there's a Jump Shard in the out-of-bounds area. Fall into the water and you die instantly, though the out-of-bounds crane and dock area gives you a few extra seconds before you go down.

Best Weapons on Docks

Ranged

• Sniper — The long, open sightlines make the Sniper the defining weapon on Docks.
• Revolver — Two clean 55-damage shots drop enemies at range without committing to a scope.
• Assault Rifle — A reliable mid-range option for the closer window and crate fights.

Melee

• Katana — The speed boost helps you rotate between buildings through the broken windows.

Best Positions on Docks

• A — Building windows
  Break the glass to enter and hold the upper-floor sightlines over the docks.
• B — Out-of-bounds crane
  A risky high point with long sightlines — you survive here only briefly.
• C — Main dock lane
  The long central sightline where snipers duel across the water.
• D — Cover crates
  The scattered boxes give mid-range cover for the Assault Rifle.

Common Mistakes on Docks

• Falling into the water — it kills you instantly with no recovery.
• Ignoring the breakable windows — using the doors is slower and more exposed.
• Standing in the open dock lane — snipers will pick you off from the far buildings.
