Rooftops Overview

Rooftops is a high-altitude map built around long sightlines and rooftop-to-rooftop jumps. The core fight is for the high ground — whoever controls the tallest ledges controls the map. It's a sniper's map first and a rush map second, so bring a long-range plan or you'll get picked off before you reach cover.

Best Weapons on Rooftops

Ranged

• Sniper — One body shot at any range dominates the long rooftops lanes.
• Assault Rifle — Reliable mid-range option for the closer rooftop crossings.
• Plasma Gun — Charged shots go through the low walls and A/C units everyone hides behind.

Melee

• Katana — The speed boost helps you rotate between rooftops through the ducts without being heard.

Best Positions on Rooftops

• A — Main rooftop edge
  The highest ledge with the longest sightlines. Best sniper nest, but it's the first place enemies pre-aim.
• B — Behind the water tank
  Mid-map cover that lets you peek the main lane while staying half-hidden.
• C — A/C units
  A mid-range hold point with hard cover on three sides. Great for the Assault Rifle.
• D — Central skybridge
  High risk, high reward — full view of both lanes but zero cover. Only take it when you control the map.

Common Mistakes on Rooftops

• Standing on open rooftop edges — you're an easy sniper target.
• Jumping between rooftops in view of enemies — you're exposed mid-air with no cover.
• Sitting on the skybridge too long — both lanes can see you at once.
